Reiki treats the whole person, focusing on the body, emotions, mind, and spirit.  By directly channeling the internal wisdom and higher self of the recipient, this form of energy work creates the space for recalibration, clarity, mental and emotional release, peace, detox, relaxation, and overall wellbeing.  Reiki is a combination of light touch, universal light projection, invocation of traditional Reiki symbols, healing crystals and stones.

About the Therapist

Danielle Olivieri, MS, OTR/L

Danielle was born and raised in Newark, Delaware. She was exposed to neurologically atypical children from a young age, as her older brother has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). While attending University of Delaware for her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, she was employed as a Paraprofessional in the Delaware Autism Program each summer. It was there that she learned about Occupational Therapy and became fascinated with the process. Danielle earned a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. Her passion is OT, always keeping up with research and learning new ways to support parents and children so they can enjoy typical family activities when there are behavioral, sensory, or motor challenges. She spends several days each week contracting to area schools. She started Live Well OT to provide therapy without the constraints and restrictions imposed by insurance companies and schools. This allows her to have more time to communicate with parents and other caregivers so they can work collaboratively to support children. Live Well OT is currently out of network with all insurances, however upon request, will provide a "superbill" for you to submit to your insurance company to utilize any out of network benefits. You are also able to use health savings account (HSA) funds.

Danielle also has a passion for alternative and holistic health. She is 200-hour Freedom Flow Vinyasa Yoga Certified and Reiki I and II Certified. She often incorporates holistic strategies into her therapy sessions, as well as offering individual Reiki sessions.
